Spring has sprung, the grass has ris  ... finally!!! GRADE 7 SCIENCE Monday - Apr 20- We will mark Topic 4 Review questions in class as well as some Worksheets which were assigned in class on Friday. Tuesday/Wednesday - Apr 21 & 22- We will work through Topic 5 - "Changes of State" in which the students will review materials learned in earlier years Thursday - Apr 23- The students will wrap up topic 5 by doing the review questions at the end Friday - Apr 24 - Introduction to Topic 6 "Transfer of Energy" . In this topic students will be learning about the concepts of radiation, conduction and convection. GRADE 8 CLASSES AND ASSIGNMENTS BIBLE Apr. 20 - 23- we will work through Lessons 24 and 25 Bible Memory, is coming due in a short while. This month students are working on Psalm 119:9-16 LANGUAGE ARTS SPELLING: April 20-24 Vocab terms will be taken from chapters 13 - 16 of the Bronze Bow. It is imperative that students keep up to date on it as it will be extremely easy to fall behind. GRAMMAR: Apr 20 - 22- This week finds us working on identifying complete subjects and predicates; simple subjects and predicates; and direct objects. The lessons covered will be 12, 13, and 17. LITERATURE - This week, the class will read through and work on questions and activities from chapters 13 - 16 SOCIAL STUDIES April 20 - 24 - The class will continue working through a Focus on Inquiry Project. This project is scheduled to be completed by the 28th by which time each group will present to the class the information they have discovered as they worked through the assignment. SCIENCE April 20-21- We will continue to work through the information in which our eyes are compared to cameras. This will be completed by Wednesday's class In class on Wednesday the class will begin learning about telescopes, binoculars and Microscopes. Much of this information should be a review as most of the material was covered in an earlier unit. We should be finished by Thursday. During Friday's class the students will work through the Topic 5 Review and Topics 4-5 WrapUp. HEADS UP - A Unit test has been tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, April 28
